Announcing Overdose Lifeline Learning
Self-Paced Online Learning Courses with Certificate

Overdose Lifeline has worked with subject matter experts to develop a series of educational courses specific to the opioid health crisis and addiction / substance use disorder. ​These training courses are for individuals, parents, healthcare professionals and groups and organizations who are working to prevent and reduce the effects of the opioid public health crisis and addiction/substance use disorder. As well as groups who serve individuals at risk for an opioid misuse/addiction or overdose. 
 Take online courses from anywhere, completing the coursework when it is convenient for you.

The Brain and the Disease of Addiction $15.00
You will acquire a foundational understanding of how the brain is affected from substances such as drugs and alcohol. How the disease of addiction develops. An understanding of brain neuroplasticity and how through treatment and recovery the brain can change/reset.

First Responder Naloxone $35.00
Developed specifically for First Responders, this course will provide a foundational understanding of the opioid public health crisis and the overdose epidemic. You will learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and how to administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone (brand name NARCAN).

The Opioid Public Health Crisis $35.00
​​You will acquire an in-depth understanding of the opioid public health crisis – what is occurring, how we arrived here, the contributors and risk factors. You will learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and how the opioid reversal drug Naloxone works. The course will conclude with a review of the multifaceted solutions model that states and communities are applying to reduce the effects of the health crisis.
